Profit Factor

Profit Factor - A performance metric defined as (total gross profit of winning trades) ÷ (total gross loss of losing trades). A profit factor >1 means net profitability. For example, PF=2 means $2 gained per $1 lost. Algorithmic traders use profit factor to evaluate strategy profitability; a higher profit factor indicates more reward per unit of loss.
