Trigger

Trigger - A market event or condition that initiates a trade or action. A trigger can be a price reaching a certain level, an indicator signal, or any predefined condition. For example, a trader might set a trigger to sell when an asset’s price exceeds a threshold. In automation, triggers are key: once the trigger condition is met, the bot automatically executes the corresponding orders without delay. A trade trigger thus meets the criteria to start an automated transaction, such as placing an order when price crosses a set point.
