Equity Curve (Chart)

Equity Curve - The graph of account equity (balance plus unrealized P/L) over time or trades. Both cTrader and MT5 produce equity charts from backtests. In cTrader’s backtesting results, the equity chart plots balance on the Y-axis versus trade count (X-axis), with a grey zone showing equity changes. This visualizes how balance grows and drops over each pass. In MT5, equity charts similarly plot the balance line across the testing period.
