The raw loss from the initial deposit to the lowest account balance point. In MetaTrader reports this is shown as “Balance Drawdown Absolute” (difference between the initial deposit and the minimal balance reached). It measures how far below the starting equity the account falls during a test. For example, an absolute drawdown of $100 means the account fell $100 below the initial deposit at its lowest point.
