Bandwidth - Bandwidth is the amount of data that can be transferred between a server and the internet in a given time (usually measured in Mbps or Gbps). In hosting terms, it determines how much market data and trading traffic the server can handle. For automated trading, sufficient bandwidth ensures that price updates, order submissions, and trade confirmations flow smoothly without bottlenecks. Limited bandwidth on a forex trading server could delay price feeds or order execution during high market activity.
