Currency Instrument (Symbol)

Currency Instrument - The market instrument being traded (e.g. a currency pair, stock ticker, index symbol, etc.). MetaTrader refers to this as a symbol or security. A “currency instrument” can be any pair like EURUSD, or any symbol provided by the broker. Instruments have properties like Point, Spread, lot size, trading hours, etc. The list of available symbols is shown in the Market Watch window.
