Drawdown

Drawdown - A measure of the decline in equity from the highest point to a subsequent low during a trading period. Expressed in percentage terms, drawdowns help assess risk and volatility of a trading strategy. Forex robot journaling involves tracking each drawdown episode to evaluate whether risk control mechanisms—such as stop-loss logic or trade limits—are functioning effectively.
