Exchange (Netting)

Exchange - In MT5, an account mode (often used for stock/futures) where all trades on a symbol are combined into a single net position. MT5 supports both hedging (multiple positions, like MT4) and netting (exchange-style) modes. Netting means one position per symbol (new trades adjust the position), whereas hedging allows multiple long/short orders simultaneously. MT4 uses hedging by default and does not allow netting mode.
