Exotic Currencies - Currencies from smaller or emerging economies that are not as heavily traded as the major currencies. Exotic currency pairs (typically one exotic currency against a major like USD) tend to have lower liquidity and wider spreads. Examples include the Thai Baht (THB), Mexican Peso (MXN), or Turkish Lira (TRY) paired with USD or EUR.
