Good Till Canceled (GTC)

Good Till Canceled - An order that remains active indefinitely until it is either filled or manually canceled by the trader. In a robot, a GTC limit or stop order will persist across sessions until filled or removed. Many platforms allow setting TimeInForce.GoodTillCancel. Unlike “day” orders, GTC orders do not expire at market close, though brokers may impose a maximum (e.g. 90 days).
