Input Parameter

Input Parameter - A configurable variable of a trading robot. In cTrader you mark parameters with the [Parameter] attribute (e.g. public int SlowPeriods) and include them in optimization. In MT4/5 these are the EA’s External Inputs. Optimization changes these parameter values; for example, optimizing Stop Loss, Take Profit, moving-average periods, etc., to find the best settings. Users set a range and step for each input to define the search space.
