Martingale Strategy – A risky trading or betting strategy that involves doubling the position size after each loss, so that a subsequent win would recover all prior losses. In forex robot terms, a martingale EA will increase trade size when losing, aiming for one eventual win to cover the losses. While a martingale can produce many small wins, it carries the danger of large drawdowns or account wipeout if a losing streak continues.
