Refers to a brokerage model that does not operate a dealing desk. NDD brokers (such as ECN or STP brokers) forward client orders directly to liquidity providers or the interbank market, rather than internally matching or taking the opposite side of trades. This can result in more transparent pricing and no dealer intervention in trade execution.
