Over-the-Counter - A market structure where trades are done directly between parties without a centralized exchange. The global forex market is primarily OTC — transactions occur via interbank or electronic networks rather than a single exchange. OTC trading offers flexibility in terms, but can have less transparency than exchange-traded markets.
