Partial Fill

Partial Fill – When only a portion of the requested order volume is executed at the target price, leaving the remainder unfilled. For example, if a robot places an order for 1,000,000 units but only 600,000 are available at that price, it results in a partial fill. The remaining amount may remain pending or require a new order. Partial fills are common in low-liquidity conditions. Robots must handle partial fills by checking returned execution quantities and possibly resubmitting the unfilled portion.
