Pivot Points

Pivot Points - Technical analysis levels calculated from the previous period’s high, low, and close. The central pivot (average of high, low, close) and derived support/resistance lines often mark intraday turning points. Traders (and robots) use pivot levels to gauge likely support/resistance and to set entry/exit points in short-term strategies.
