Price Feed

Price Feed - Another term for a data feed specifically providing live price quotes (bid/ask) for currency pairs. A price feed is the stream through which a robot sees the current market quote. For forex robots, price feeds typically come from the broker’s data API or a market data vendor. As noted above, “a market data feed provides price and other information”, which robots continuously read to update internal models and trigger orders.
