Quote Currency

Quote Currency - The second currency in a currency pair, used to value the first (base) currency. It’s the currency in which the price is quoted. For example, in GBP/USD = 1.2500, the quote currency is USD and the quote means 1 British pound is worth 1.25 US dollars. (Synonym: “counter currency.”)
