SSD (Solid State Drive)

An SSD is a type of storage that uses flash memory instead of spinning disks. SSDs have no moving parts and offer much faster data access (often 100× faster than HDDs). In a forex server, an SSD means the operating system and trading software load quickly, and any read/write tasks (like saving logs or database updates) happen near-instantly. This can improve overall server responsiveness and reliability. Most modern VPS/Dedicated plans use SSDs or even NVMe drives, which is a boon for latency-sensitive applications like live trading.
