Stochastic Oscillator

Stochastic Oscillator - A momentum indicator comparing the current close to a recent price range (typically 14 periods). It produces two lines (%K and %D) oscillating between 0–100. Values above ~80 often indicate overbought, below ~20 oversold. In automated trading, crossing signals or divergences of the Stochastic are used to time entry and exit points.
