In cTrader Copy, a Strategy Provider is a trader who offers their trading strategy for others to follow. This is the person (or system) whose trades will be copied by investors. Strategy providers usually list their strategy on the platform with a performance record, and they can set compensation in the form of fees – such as performance fees, management fees, or volume-based commissions. When investors subscribe and copy the strategy, the provider earns the specified commissions from those investors. In short, the strategy provider is the source of the trades in copy trading (the role opposite to the investor).
