Strategy Tester

Strategy Tester - The built-in testing/optimization tool in MetaTrader 4/5. It runs EAs on historical data. In cTrader, the analogous interface is the Backtesting/Optimization tabs for a cBot. The Strategy Tester in MT5 supports backtests, visual tests, optimization, forward testing, etc.. Citing MT5 documentation helps explain general tester functionality.
