See Islamic Account above. This is an account type where no swap/rollover interest is charged on overnight positions. Instead, the broker may charge alternate fees or require certain conditions. Swap-free accounts are designed for traders who cannot pay/receive interest for religious reasons, but they are sometimes used by others who want to hold trades long-term without incurring overnight fees. If your EA is a long-term trend follower or carry trade system, using a swap-free account can shield you from negative swap costs – but be sure to read the broker’s terms (they may restrict which instruments can be traded or impose flat administration fees after a certain holding period).
