Any financial instrument or market available for trading on cTrader. A symbol could be a currency pair (like EUR/USD), a stock CFD, a commodity, an index, etc. Each symbol has its own specification (such as lot size, tick size, trading hours, margin requirements) which can be viewed in cTrader’s symbol details or Active Symbol Panel. Traders select symbols from the MarketWatch or search bar to open charts or place orders. In everyday terms, symbol just means the asset you are trading. For example, “EURUSD” is the symbol for the Euro vs US Dollar currency pair.
