Technical Analysis - The study of historical price charts and statistics (like volume) to predict future market movements. Technical analysts use tools such as trend lines, chart patterns, and indicators (RSI, moving averages, MACD, etc.) to identify trading opportunities. In forex, technical analysis is very common, especially among short-term traders and automated trading systems, under the belief that all fundamental information is already reflected in price.
