Tick

Tick - The smallest possible price movement increment. In many contexts one tick is synonymous with one pip (for forex pairs priced to 4 decimals), but more precisely a tick is just any minimal change (which could be less than a pip for brokers that use fractional pips). Some trading platforms offer tick charts, which plot price action for each tick (each trade or price update) rather than time intervals.
