Yard

A forex slang term meaning one billion units of a currency. For instance, a trader might say “I just sold a yard of cable,” meaning they sold £1,000,000,000 of GBP/USD. (In market slang, “yard” avoids ambiguity since “billion” can mean different scales in some European usages. Another example: “two yards of euro” means €2 billion.)
